Need a new series!

I'm a huge fan of series. I have a million books I want to read right now but series keep me wanting to read every day.
I'm just finishing up The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown, which I am totally in to right now. I love books like that.....actual facts with a fictional story line. Plus, I'm convinced I have to go back to D.C. to investigate some of the things mentioned in the book.

I also love light, romantic, stupid reads too.

Suggestions!!

Anita Blake vampire executioner series by Laurell Hamilton? These are lots of fun. I would recommend the first eight or so. The more recent ones are pretty bad.

If you like romantic stuff, the Susan Elizabeth Phillips Chicago Stars Series is fun. I think the first one is "It Had to Be You."

Did you read the Mortal Instruments and Clockwork series by Cassandra Clare yet? I really like those. I read a lot of vampire series too but I won't mention those if you don't like it. I'll go through my nook to see what else I have read that's good. I go through 5-6 books a week probably so I'm sure there is a lot more you'd like. What genre of books do you like? And yes I am a sucker for teen fiction lol but I will read almost anything.

Erica, have you read the Lorien legacies yet? First book is I am number four and the second came out last month which is The Power of Six. They are young adult and easy reads.
My daughter just finished the 2nd book and I'm going to read it next.

Thanks girls! I like so many different genres. I just don't really get in to the vampire stuff.
I do love to read but have a hard time finding time

I have the Pillars of the earth & it's a hard read....boring. I only made it 100 pages. It's not a series though is it?

Have you read the Diana Gabaldon "Outlander" Series? It is 7 books and they are each about 1000 pages, but fast reads that really draw you in. I was skeptical at first as I normally hate anything un-realisitic (ie vampires, sci fi, or time travel), but it really works in this case. I love history so much that I finally gave in after multiple friends insisted I would love them, and now I just finished reading the entire series! It is really, really good. Also if you can stand audiobooks the recorded versions of these books are by far the best I have ever listened too, the woman who does the voices and accents is amazing lol!
