I'm not a memoir person, but I am loving this book. It's hard to put down because you want to see what her dysfunctional parents are gonna do next (although they're great) and you wanna see Jeannette and her siblings grow up. It's hard to believe it's a true story since most of it is painful, traumatic stuff that almost seems made-up.

Anyone else read it yet? I'm halfway through.

I read it and really, really liked it. It is a MUST read!

this was an awesome book! I loved it. I read it a while back, but I currently count it among my favorites. I will most definitely read it again once I am through with my current few.
