| | | I have read all but the one that is just about to be released in theaters. One of my ALL time favorite movies is "Silence of The Lambs!" It is about to be released in a new DVD with 22 deleted scenes! I cannot wait to get it!

| | I want to read HR really bad. I have read Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, and Hannibal. I heard some guy on the radio crapping all over this book...he was saying that it was weak and was not at all like the other books.
I agree the Hannibal the movie was not even close to being as good as the book. I liked Red Dragon as movie although I think they could have found a better Francis...I didn't think Ralph Fiennes was physically the right guy for the part.
Okay everyone is probably thinking that I am a weirdo now....I promise I am not....I just love scary books.. |

| | | The Hannibal movie was great. But they should have ended it like the book. THat is what sux about making books into movies... they can really ruin a good one!!

| | | Refresh my memory of Red Dragon. Did that one have the guy that got burned up in the wheelchair? And the Dragon guy (Fiennes) lived in that big house? I have seen so many creepy movies that I cannot keep them apart.
I bought Hannibal Rising the other day but haven't started it!

| | | Ive read all of the Thomas Harris books except this one...I LOVED Red Dragon (read it before movie came out.) I liked Silence of the Lambs a lot, but it was fairly predictable since I'd already seen the movie a few times. I remember the other books hinted at what Hannibal's childhood was like and I've always wanted to learn more.
I think I am alone in that i did not care much for Hannibal the book...I enjoyed the other 2 a lot more. I need to go to the library and check this out or else wait until its out in paperback. |

| | I finished HR yesterday, and I liked it, although I was expecting something much different. I don't think it was quite as good as the first three books with Hannibal in them, but those three made me wonder about the character so much that it inclined me to read HR. I would probably read almost anything Harris wrote at this point

| | | I'll never forget in Red Dragon when Fiennes stuffed that drawing into his mouth. I cracked up.

| | I was just thinking today...did anyone else find it odd that they didn't mentioned the six-fingered thing at all in Hannibal Rising? They mention it in all of the other three books, and I figure something would have happened about it in Hannibal Rising, but it wasn't in the book at all. Maybe I'm just a weirdo and am thinking about it too much
