How to clean diamond jewelry...

Does anyone know a good and safe home remedy? I just got a diamond band ring and since its new, im in that mode to want to always keep it sparkling. I heard about dipping it in a mixture of warm water and ammonia...kinda scary.

I just use and old toothbrush and warm water and toothpaste, it cleans it like magic, just be sure to rinse it thoroughly.

keri! I do the same thing and so does my mom. It works like a charm. I especially love that I don't have to go out and buy something special just to clean them.
