| | | Dandruff Help. Okay I have dandruff, not your average couple of flakes, but actually clumps of it. It is gross and I am sick of it.
I use Head and Shoulders shampoo and Amazing Grace from Philosophy conditioner every day.
I wash my hair at the end of my shower in cold water, as recommended by my stylist.
I can't cut out washing my hair every day, or the dandruff gets worse.
So my question is what can I do about it. I've already tried prescription stuff with no help, and didn't see the point in wasting the $$$ on the prescription formula

| | | I sometimes get this problem and I dont know if its from my hair being so thick that the shampoo has a hard time penetrating or what but I went to the derm and she gave me a scrip for Loprox shampoo and it works like A DREAM .im not kidding!!
Its $80 a bottle about the height of a pop can and an inch wide but dammit its worth it. You only have to use a little tiny bit each time. |

| | | I've had the Loprox, it did nothing at all. I have a feeling it is hormonal or allergy related. I dont remember any cortosteroid I've been on, is that a pill? I took a pill for a while, but stopped, because of some issues I have with swallowing pills.

isn't there other shampoos that you can try? i know there's that one with the ketoconazole, that's supposed to be good. |

| | | I dont know about tying anything else, I may do it, but I think it may be related to my super dry skin and allergies maybe....
It is a pain, but it earned me my pet name, Erik calls me snowflake because one morning he woke up to a danruffy pillow.
