| IMHO:
I believe as long as an eyeshadow has not been exposed to liquids, such as water, saliva (eeyw) etc. There is no reason for it to be tossed after a year. I have shadows that are ten years old that apply as nicely as when they were freshly opened. There is a greater risk of a product turning bad if it is water-based, less of a risk for emollients, and little risk for an unaltered powder-based eyeshadow. I'd look for changes in colour, smell or texture. If nothing seems wrong with a powder eyeshadow, it's more than likely fine. |
