They're Real Mascara

Anyone have this mascara? I actually love it but find it so hard to remove. It's not waterproof but it's weird. I have an oil based makeup remover & it doesn't work very well.

Any thoughts?

OMG!!! Your Kidding? I just bought it on a HSN daily special but didn't try it yet. I wear contacts so this makes a huge problem for me. Did you try to wash it off with Purity? I currently use Mally volumizing mascara which is AMAZING and it washes off clean with purity. It also never smuges or flakes.

I wear contacts too. Big problem. I haven't tried purity. I don't know what it is.

I had it and loved it but had the same problem and actually had a huge chunk of lashes fall out from using it. I'm now on the hunt for some Latisse

Purity face wash from philosophy. It usually gets off everything even the waterproof stuff. Not the foaming one though the original one.

I'm thinking since I'm already using a waterproof makeup remover, nothing will work much better
Thanks!

What kind of makeup remover do you use Erica? I use the lancome bi-facil double action eye makeup remover and it seems to do the trick for all my eye makeup. I haven't used this particular mascara but that remover I have works well for waterproof ones .

I'm so excited to start using it. I can only find it at one spa around here though and they want me to make an appointment to come in and get it but all the times they have available are when I am working. It's annoying.

It's Sephora brand. Gets all my waterproof mascaras off great. Just not this one!

The newly revamped Diorshow is quite good.

I find that if I use Dior Show as the first coat, and then Cover Girl Lash Blast (orange tube) that I get fantastic results...oh, and an eyelash curler, first, of course!

I almost bought the New Dior Show Mascara, but chickened out!

Try regular olive oil on a cotton ball Erica.

Hi Erica. I personally do not have any issues removing this mascara. You may need to use a different eye makeup remover. Try starting the cotton pad with remover, place it on top of lashes and hold for a few seconds, then swipe down. Do not rub left to right as this causes undue stress to the lashes.
