MAC makeup brushes

Does anyone know of a seller that sells authentic MAC brushes on e-bay. I see them for pretty cheap, but don't want to take the chance of getting fakes. Thanks! (I want a set BTW)

Why not just get them off the MAC website? Or Nordies?

I usually wait for a coupon event at a dept store and get them from there. At the last Macy's F&F, I was able to use the 25% coupon on them, and my cousin works there, so she got me like another 20% on top of that. I haven't seen Nordie's do an event in a while, but I know Bloomie's has a 20% F&F and Saks has a 25% one at least annually. G'luck!!

I am assuming because they are cheaper online would be the reason. Brushes always worry me on ebay with all the fakes. The F&F idea in a store that carries Mac is a great idea or like she said if you know someone who works in the store who can get you their discount. Mac employees also get a discount if you know one of those.

Best of luck! I have 2 of their brushes they seem to work ok I am no expert but especially in the beginning but even now still hairs fall out onto my face which is annoying.

I guess I shouldn't have asked that because the answer is obvious.
Point is, I wouldn't buy off Ebay

I am starting to think I won't buy off of e-bay either. I normally buy my makeup from Macy's but two of their brushes from MAC are 22+. I did buy a 28$ elizabeth Arden brush from there once and it came smashed (not that bad but enough to where I sent an e-mail) in the bottom of a big box with other stuff I ordered, they ended up sending me a new one without any charge. I was pleased. I washed the smashed up one and actually use it as well.

Outlet malls usually have a Factory store for like Estee Lauder, etc and should carry MAC stuff as well for 30-40% off. If ours was closer, Id check it for you.

I would highly recommend the Sigma brushes (sigmax). Great quality brushes at a fraction of the cost. Haven't had any hairs fall out despite having to wash them every week. Also the stippling brush is my favorite (it's actually denser than the 187).

^ but much flimsier. I have the 187 and the sigma version of it. While the sigma has more fibers, it is flimsier than the 187, which I don't care for Their sigmax brush line is great though w/ the synthetic fibers!

I've said this quite a few times before, but stay away from buying makeup brushes, especially MAC, on ebay, for they are highly faked. Also, if you do get real brushes on ebay, you end up paying almost close to the amount of the real ones anyways. If you see that no one is bidding and you win something for much cheaper, it's something to get suspicious about. Also, the only brush sets MAC sells are the short handled holiday set ones. If you see full sized brushes that come packaged in a set, it's a dead giveaway they're fakes.
