Favorite mascara?

Hi ladies! I'm lookin' for a new mascara, since I believe the one I'm using (Lancome, L'Extreme) is causing me to have an allergic reaction (and it's really not pretty!). I loved that one because it really separated my lashes and made them long and beautiful. I'm looking for a mascara with a nice small brush- I do not care for a HUGE mascara wand. Right now, I'm using a Korres one which I'm very meh about.

So- what mascara do you love? Help me please!!!

I just started using Benefit They're Real. I absolutely love it! It really lengthens them and makes them so full looking and it doesn't flake throughout the day.

^What's the wand like? I have a benefit mascara (Bad Gal) and the wand is GINORMOUS!!! I just looked on Sephora and the Bad Gal wand doesn't LOOK that big- I assure you, it is- so I am skeptical of the They're Real wand too.

I feel so high maintenance right now.

The wand itself not including the handle is about 2.5" and about 4" with the handle.

ETA: I used Bad Gal once and hated it...this is nothing like Bad Gal.

Haha, Lynne, thank you! You totally didn't have to do that for me! I appreciate it. I wish I knew for certain that the mascara is what's causing the reaction: my derm says it can be any product at all that I've used and it could easily be something that I've used for years and all of the sudden BAM I've developed an allergy. I use Aveda hair products and body wash and I also fear that it's the botanicals in the Aveda that I'm allergic to... wah... first world problems, lol.

I use Clinique High Impact mascara, and I really like it. I think the wand is bigger than Lynne's Benefit, but definitely not as large as Bad Gal. I really like it!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Volumizing Mascara. I put on one coat all around and then a second coat following around my eyes in the same order. It really builds up without clumping...even my fine, thin, blonde eyelashes! Love it! I have reactions to mascaras usually, so I was looking for more of a natural mascara.

I was using the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes, but for some reason it seemed my eyelashes were breaking off after using for almost a year (could have been something else???). So I switched to the clay volumizing and my lashes are longer, thicker, and soft (not crunchy). Doesn't flake or smudge.

I think it's cheaper through the Q - A-D tarte Amazonian Clay Volumizing Mascara DuoAuto-Delivery - QVC.com

I'm a cheap-o and use Maybelline Lash Stiletto, but it works just as well as if not better than more expensive mascaras I've tried. The brush isn't big at all and for me does a great job separating, I love it, and for the price it's awesome.

I use Clinique Lash Power long-wear because my left eye waters a lot, so it's basically the only one I can use without crying it off (outside of waterproof, which is a PITA.)

It's good for length, but not as much for volume. The wand is nice and small though, and I agree, large wands are difficult and irritating.

I hate using anything except water on my eyes when taking off the makeup, so I use this two and love them both:

I use Clinique High Impact Curling, and I LOVE IT.

I'd say the brush is pretty average in size. But it curls my lashes for seriousness, and I don't need to use a curler. I also get compliments all the time since I've switched about how long my lashes are. So I guess that's a bonus

Oh, and the formula doesn't cause the raccoon look at all when coming off. It washes off so easily in warm water, in like the tubes of how it went on. It's kinda hard to explain, but you can easily just slide the mascara off of your lashes like it ain't no thang.

MUFE Aqua Eyes Waterproof

Holds my curl EXCELLENT.
Best result i ever had, btw I have Asian lashes (stiff, naturally going down instead of the upper direction!)
Lengthens and voluminizes like a dream!

IDK what to do when my bottle empties
we don't have any MUFE around here...

I absolutely love these both by Eyeko ;)) The first one is not a waterproof mascara but it stays on as such, although it is easy removable with water (it comes off as small rubbery things) , the second one gives amazing lashes as well and could be removed with water only - you don't have to even rub your lashes with fingers etc.

For my Sephora mascara, I like Dior Show ICONIC (hate reg. Dior Show, the brush is too freakin big!). Dying to try the Benefit They're Real! Glad to hear Lynne loves it...

My drugstore find, which I may say is my all time fav. is Covergirl Lash Blast Volume (orange tube). Love the brush - a must try drugstore one!!!!!!!!

^ i used to love lash blast! but it always seems like it takes a couple of days for the formula to be not crazy runny, and then within a couple of weeks, the consistency is super clumpy and not pretty.

i just discovered the panthera ultraflesh, since sephora had them as a a VIB sample, and i am in LOVE with it. i put it on after the diorshow primer, and it is amazing. it doesn't flake, doesn't run, i've slept in it numerous times and it still looks fantastic the next day. the brush also has a lash separator built-in, so it's convenient for me. i've just been using the little samples though, since the packaging of the full size one turns me off

I hardly ever wear mascara now (I just use false lashes) but if I were to buy a new mascara right now, it would be Benefit's They're Real. I tried it out a couple weeks ago and was actually really impressed!! It's very very black too

^ Ok, so I got intrigued by this Benefit's They're Real mascara after your comments, so I went and googled it and that is what I found. The results vary a lot: clumpy lashes, natural lashes, fake look lashes I would try it though as one hardly get the application of any mascaras right from the 1st time
