Anyone tried the new Chanel D'ombre eyeshadows?

I just ordered two of them and was wondering if anyone knows if they stay put all day?

Yes, I have the Ebloui one. I wanted Emerveille too but it was sold out when I bought the other.

It does stay put, all day. But, I also use UDPP underneath.

I do find that it needs to be built up some if you use a brush. I find it easier by applying with a finger. But, it's such a different, spongy texture that perhaps I'm just not used to it.

I think it's a nice formulation during warmer weather.

Which colors did you get?

The Chanel lady suckered me into buying one when I went to go pick up my Peridot nail polish. I got the Epatant and I *love* it! I'm actually going back to buy Illusoire.

I asked about pigmentation as well as application. She actually told me to NOT wear any primer underneath to avoid creasing. I've worn it twice so far (w/o primer) and it stayed on all day (from 7am until 10pm) with NO creasing!! I was shocked! The color is also very well pigmented for a cream shadow. I didn't need to build up the shadow at all. I used the brush that came with it and it turned out great. I love it! The price was steeper than what I wanted to spend on an eyeshadow, but this one is well worth it IMO. I like these better than the Bobbi Brown ones I have (that used to be my favorite).

I got the Epatant and Illusoire. My friend works at Dillards so she got these for me with her 25% discount!! She hasn't delivered them to me yet so I was wondering how they are with staying power.
Anna glad to hear that you like them. Is the Epatant too much for a daytime look or only nighttime? Have you tried the Bare Essentials cream shadows? I have a couple of them and they stay put pretty much all day as well.
Linda let me know if you want me to see if she can get me the color you want that was out of stock.

Here's the link with the swatches. I may want that Fantasme color too now.

That's good to know about the primer Anna! I'll try without. Maybe that's why I had to build it up because the Chanel is already a silicone/gel or silicone feeling base.

I've been Peridot this week. Do you like the color?

Charla, this Chanel formulation feels different than most cream shadows. I would love if you can get me the Emerveille one if you'll be ordering another. The color seems very similar to Benefit's RSVP cream shadow, which i love. Now you ladies have me wanting
Epatant!

Has anyone compared these to the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place ShadowCreme?
