And before you ask, he doesen't want to go to dentist to do it.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Since we are only talking about over-the-counter availability products then, I'd suggest just starting with Crest Whitestrips.

Pam what do you think about that Go Smile stuff? Have you had any experiences with it? I had a sample rub on stick thing from them before and it seemed to work a bit... but then again it was only a sample so no miracles.
Crest Whitestrips make my teeth soooo sensitive and achy but they do work. pain for pleasure? lol

i don't think the Go Smile works that great. Well, not on me.

Crest Whitestrips are much better.

Yeah, i'd pass on the go smile. there's more effective things for the price.

As for recession - depends on the severity and on individual tolerance with regards to sensitivity. You can also try to stick wax over a particular exposed root surface prior to application much like we'd block it out with block-out/dam material for an in-office treatment

I've used these and was happy with the results. Crest 3D White Whitestrips Professional Effects Teeth Whitening System I have no idea if they are really comparable to professional whitening because I've never had it done. I also have sensitive teeth but since I've started brushing with Sensodyne they've been a lot better.

Thank you all of your answers!

We are planning to order those crest whitening strips. I hope they'll work out.

surprisingly my teeth aren't really sensitive at all. they were after the perio surgery for about 6 months but not anymore. i may give it a shot someday. my teeth are pretty white, but i'd love for them to be even whiter.
