What the heck happened to my hair/scalp?

I generally get my hair dyed by the same girl every time and she always uses Goldwell. This time I had a different girls who's always there dye my roots.
Well I have these really painful bumps on my scalp in three spots. She didn't use anything different, didn't leave it on longer, or heat longer.
They hurt pretty bad. Any stylist here know what I can do for them? They prob are chemical burns and just have to heal My hair didn't fall out or anything, just extremely sore. Not sure what to do.

You need to call her and ask her what to do for something like that. I'm thinking some type of burn cream/aloe would help but IDK for sure. That looks kind of dangerous. Did she leave the chemical on too long?

Are you absolutely sure she didn't switch anything? From the colour it looks like you are a bleach and tone? It's possible she used a higher developer with the lightener and it burned your scalp a little. This can happen also if you have a sensitive scalp. When getting colour services done it is best to not wash your hair for a least a day prior to the service. If you wash your hair the day of, you have removed the oils on your scalp which help protect your scalp during a colour. I would contact them and mention it though. She may have tweaked your formula to something she thought would work better, without telling you.

I did end up calling and the girl was extremely rude. Like I was questioning her, doing something. I made it clear that I'm sure she didn't do it intentionally, but what do I do! I mean I have 4 of these "scabs" on my scalp now. And my hair seems to be thinner in there areas. She said she used 30 vol, which is what my normal girl always uses. She said I must have had an allergic reaction to some product I use. I told her that I don't use anything nor did I use any different shampoo/conditioner. I asked her if she thought aloe or what can I use on a possible chemical burn. She replied I don't know I'm not a doctor you should go see a dermatologist. It's just frustrating and sore. I've been putting neosporin & A&D ointments on it daily. It doesn't really help. I just don't want to spend $30 for a co pay to my doctor and then $30 for a medicine, if it's basically... it's gotta heal. I prob will if they don't go away by the end of the week.
I do bleach and then tone. Everything seemed the same. I mean the toner looked the exact color and smelled the same. She didn't use excess heat. I think the normal girl leaves it on about 30 mins and that is what this girl did. Now I'm just annoyed she is being rude and on top of it saying I did it! ugh

Call the mgr and complain about the rude girl. I get that she probably did nothing "wrong" but she needs to tell you what you can do to correct it. Try aloe. It won't hurt you.

Call the manager and complain. Then leave the areas alone (no brushing, combing etc) until they heal.

I've had good luck with neosporin or another antibiotic oitment to heal chemical burns, which is these definately are. I know they're painful, hopefully they'll clear up soon.

Ouch. Maybe a sun burn? You seem to be fair skinned, atleast on your scalp! Hope it gets better! Neosporin!

Seriously? Sun burn? Did you read the thread? Or were you just fishing for a way to include a spam link to Bal Harbour shops but then couldn't figure out how this time?

I've been adding neosporan at night on them. I called the "manager" or "owner" and she was no help. Basically said there is a sign somewhere that says chemical services at your own risk.
They are still there and still sore/itchy. I have strips were my hair fell off or broke off, luckily I have thick hair. On top of the winter weather make my scalp feel dry, it itches so much. I try soooo hard not to itch it. ugh

Thanks for all the advice.

I just read this tonight. I am calling the state board tomorrow at work. I wrote a check to the girl too, so I have her name.
It sucks, I wanna itch it soo freakin' bad or like massage my scalp cause it relieves it. But since reading a post on here, I've tried my hardest to leave it alone and put neosporin on it. Should I wash my hair daily still? Every other? I don't really have greasy hair or anything. Actually, my skin is pretty dry cause the winter.
I literally have almost 2 inch in length across and maybe a milimeter (ya I'm mixing US & metric) thick where my hair fell out or broke off. I'm lucky it's on the back of my head and low enough you can't see it.
NOw on for a search for a new stylist who doesn't mess up my hair, make it fall out or turn it yellow. It's hard work!
Thanks everyone

I can't get you medical advice. I can tell you that you need to see a doctor, you need the help and the report. Let the doctor advise you, if you can wash your hair.
She burned your scalp, and your hair. I'm sure she raised the peroxide level to get you to process faster.
We are not all like her. I'm sorry this happened to you.

I would contact the Better Business Bureau.

I'm also a fan of posting reviews on Yelp.com - either positive or negative based on the experience. I often look up new places on the site and always check the reviews.
