Bump on eyelid

I don't know what they're called so .. I don't know what I would search for it in the search bar for the threads (so sorry if there's already been questions about this!!)



sorry the pictures crappy quality 'cause my camera's dead and i had to use my cellphone... LOL.

What are they called?? and how do you get them / get rid of them?

I think this was discussed in another thread as well... I believe it's called milia. Here's a link to some google images, which all look similar:

Essentially, they are just clogged pores underneath your skin's surface. They aren't harmful, and from the little I've read, they are removable. But, to prevent them, make sure you are really diligent about cleaning your face, removing your makeup correctly, etc.

Definitely a milia. You will have to have a lancet to remove it, but I don't recommend doing it yourself unless you are confident in your abilities. Your derm can do it too. If you are currently using Rapid Lash, Latisses, etc, it is probably caused by those.

The area that one is in definitely needs to be lanced by a derm. Watch the eye creams and moisturizers you are using. Try to go oil free and organic on eye creams. Anything heavy or with animal fats can cause them.
