Goody Spin Pin

I have long thick hair, so I'm always looking for new hair accessories to help hold it up in a bun or ponytail. Clips always break on me, and bands/scrunchies fall out after time. I picked up some of these Goody Spin Pins from Target today. I only saw brunette & blonde, so I'm not sure if they come in other colors. So far they feel great in. Very light. We'll see how long they hold up and if they break.

I saw this and didn't understand how it worked but I just watched a review on this and it looks pretty nifty! I'll have to go pick one up! thanks!

They work great IMO and are comfortable. I wore them to work one night and my hair never came undone. I've also used these at night when I sleep, making a bun on the top of my head.

I was wondering about these. I have long, thick hair as well and it is usually too much weight to be held up in a clip. I will have to try them out.

I want to try it too. I'm going to pick one up the next time I'm at a drug store. I hope it works for me.

These are amazing. I have a ton of hair and I used them to keep my hair up overnight. They didn't come loose at all. I ended up having to get the blonde ones because these are sold out everywhere. I want the pony pouf clip too, so I'm just going to get them online.

Maybe i need to try this. My hair is too thick for clips. It looks complicated to use though.

^You'll be surprised at how easy it is. You literally screw them into and out of your hair.

I'm kind of interested in the updo maker now. I have to go to a wedding next weekend and I always have trouble when I put my hair up instead of down (which it will be hot for).

It's invisible?

My hair is in the middle--not super fine or thick.

For the record, I was always insanely jealous of your curls...not that your hair isn't super cute now...I'm just a sucker for curls.

Thanks

The short hair is sooo much easier, but I miss the instant "femininity" of my old hair I'm not one to wake up everyday and put on makeup and put together an outfit...usually only if I'm really doing something....I just feel so "blah" without my hair as my "instant accessory" if you know what I mean Some days I'm glad I did it, other days I could kill myself for doing it

I better start loving it real soon; it would take a good 5-10 years to get it back to that length again

I got this, too and I really like it. I think it would be easier for slightly thinner hair than mine. I did a messy updo today with it:

crappy cell pics. The trick seems to be don't push the thing up into your bun too close to your head. It takes a few tries, but it really holds my hair.

Charlotte, your hair turned out really cute!

Ok, I'm going back to Target to get the updo thingie as well as more spin pins. I've used them everyday since I bought them

I'm convinced now! I am going to try to buy both the spin pin and the updo one for my trip to Greece tomorrow, so I can look cute and keep my neck cool.

That is the funniest thing I have heard all day.

1. You know about the Canadian Tuxedo
2. You said "slacks".
