Ok, I know this is an old thread, but I didn't want to start another one

I recently broke down and got this... been using it for a few weeks, and I must say, I really like it. I really like the brush that's on it... it's like it's doing two things at once for me, and the brush really helps keep my hair smooth but still voluminous as I'm using it (as opposed to smooth and flat, which is what my flat iron did). My one complaint about it is that it doesn't last more than a day. When I use my curling iron to add volume, I can usually get at least two days out of it. With this, I have to use it every day, but honestly, it's very quick because I make less than ten passes to get through all my hair and it takes less than five minutes. I got mine at CostCo and it cost $90 (eek! but my flat iron needed replacement and I decided on this instead...)

Of course, keep in mind that I have stick-straight asian hair. So, I use this to keep my hair full and I like the ends to curl in a bit so you can see my layers. I don't have curly or frizzy hair, so I don't know how this would work on those who do have it.

I would definitely buy this again and I consider it a good investment. Hopefully it lasts for several years!
