Wedding hair help

First, I'm sorry for all of my wedding-related posts spamming the forums! I'm getting married in 3 weeks and am not sure what to do with my hair.

Right now, it looks like this: (Hair looks lighter in the outside pics, but I haven't changed anything in between any of those pictures, the outside ones were taken yesterday).

I have a partial highlight on top, and am not sure if I should do a full highlight or go back to my natural colour (basically the colour on bottom that you can see when I am pulling half of my hair back). I am afraid of it ending up too dark and making me look washed out. What I like about highlights is it makes my eyes look blue instead of green, but this is not a huge deal.

I also don't know what to do in terms of wedding style. The ceremony is outside so nothing uptight, but I'm also hesitant to leave it all down because it will be hot, and if my hair is in my face it's annoying.

I was thinking of this style but am not sure if it would be flatting since I have such a round face, plus my hair isn't as long as the one in the picture. I don't have time/money for a practice run.

Any suggestions for hair colour and style are greatly appreciated!

I like the hair you have right now. I don't see why you would need to change it.

What does your dress look like? Do you want your hairstyle to be fancy or low key?

If you want to something away from your face, and wedding-appropriate without a big fuss, you might consider a loose chignon.

My hair stylist did this in like 20min with rollers, under 20 pins and it stayed all day for my sister's wedding. My friend recently had her hair done for her wedding and it involved curling it, and hers took 1.5 hours (ridiculous!). So maybe you can ask around to find someone who is really sure with their hands (i.e. someone who does work for fashion shows and tv, since they usually have to work faster).

First of all you are beautiful! I think the color of your hair looks fine but if you wanted to darken it just a touch so it is all one color I think that would be pretty too. I think a half up half down do would be perfect. The one you posted in cute but it's a little too done for my taste. I think something more simple would be really pretty and elegant for an outdoor wedding. These are some good examples. The last one is more all up but it's messy and romantic at the same time, perfect for an outdoor wedding.

The wedding is in Las Vegas so I will probably just have it done in the treasure island hotel (where I am staying). I won't have a car so I am kind of stuck having it done in a hotel salon.

My dress is long, strapless, low back, fitted on top and loose silk on bottom. I want it to be fancy enough to be worth the 130$ I'm spending on having it done! I think I'd like flowers in it, or barettes, but not a tiara or something princess-y. The groom is wearing a tux though so it is still somewhat formal.

I want it at least part down because the back is so low cut. I do like the 2nd style lmspag posted.

I also thought of this one:

I don't know if it would look silly without a veil though, plus my hair is not as long. Also, it would look dated really fast.

I also have a round face, and I personally think that when I have my hair pulled away like both of the photos you shared, that I look less "full" in the face. Adding a few face framing pieces will make it look more dramatic, IMO and a cute hairpiece will finish it off perfectly. Whatever you choose, I am sure you will look absolutely stunning. You're a beautiful girl! Can't wait to see pics. Where did you decide on for your ceremony?

I like that one and I think it will look pretty with your face shape. No veil needed IMO.

I like your hair 3rd picture in the OP, natural and pretty, your first option with the flower barrette does look a bit too "done". I also like the 2nd one lmspag posted. Have you looked into having someone come to your hotel room to do your hair and/or makeup? Most are willing to travel and it is a lot less stressful than having to go somewhere Wedding Beauticians, Wedding Beautician, in Las Vegas, NV, Nevada My hair/makeup trial was $50 and actual event hair/makeup was $120 (it wasn't in LV but $130 for hair only seems high). The trial was worth it IMO, especially if you want to certain look, you don't want to spend too much time on the day of experimenting/making decisions.

i also love the second pic lynne posted. the pic you posted is also pretty, but perhaps too "stiff" for an outdoor wedding (2nd pic). it looks like your hair has a bit of a wave to it already. maybe a looser curl with more of a wavy quality to it would look good? Im sure you'll be beautiful with whatever you choose

Thank you for all of the input. I just came back from the salon with a deeper shade and a fresh trim.

I was advised by some LV residents to wear it up because it's hot and windy, so I think I will go for a loose chignon and I will suck it up and get the trial hair/makeup. It feels so ridiculous to spend more on my hair/makeup than what I paid for my dress!

I like the side swiped bangs in the first pic you posted better than having all the 'bangs' back in the 2nd pic.

Are you going to be outside before the ceremony? I think you could still do the half up and half down if that is what you want. Just make sure to take your pics before going out in the heat/wind or take them after the ceremony where it doesn't matter if your hair gets blown.
