Tweezers!

I have thick eyebrows and I need to retouched it everyday because grow up like crazy!!

I need a really good tweezer, soft, not too sharp and easy to use, I bought a Tweezeman a couple of month ago and didn't like it because was hard to use, but maybe was a fake Tweezerman (was a Tweezerman Tweezerette).... I bought a Mehaz similar to this one and is very sharp, like a knife!!, I want a good one because it's the only beauty tool that I use ( I like my eyebrows).

Recommendations?, I need something like I can buy on Ebay (because the int. shipping) and not too expensive

Thanks!

I use the Tweezerman LTD Tweezer,Slant

$20 at Walgreens: LTD Tweezer | Walgreens

If you get the slanted one it won't be a knife.

I have thick eyebrows too and i love it.

I had a Mehaz before until I misplaced it I loved it! I have a Tweezerman now and I have to say it's even sharper than the Mehaz and I feel like sometimes it cuts the hair before being able to pull it out b/c it's so sharp.. but I still like it.. I think I'd get the Mehaz over tweezerman though. Maybe the one you bought was not a first quality one? Where did you buy it? I bought mine from Sephora and it's super sharp.

I think my Tweezerman was fake...or maybe not because was exactly like the Tweezerman, I bought it on Ebay, and was very hard to handle it, like the grip was too hard, I like my Mehaz but is too sharp for me, I has cut my eyelid a couple of times and was painful

^ If you thought the mehaz was too sharp, I think you won't like the tweezerman slant ones either They're sharper.. that's why I prefer the Mehaz (so sad I lost it! )

ETA - I have no idea how sharp the Tweezerman LTD ones are.. I just have the original ones --> Sephora: Tweezerman Slant Tweezers - Assorted Colors: Tweezers & Brow Tools

maybe the LTD is more soft in the edges...I hope so
ETA- Your Tweezeman looks in the pic a lot more sharp that the one I bought..mine was more plain and less sharp

Why can't you buy from drugstore.com? You should still be able to get it at any drug store, ie Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid.

Drugstore don't ship to my country , mostly the online stores don't have international shipping, for that reason I normally buy on Ebay

This is what I use as well. I love it, I won't use anything else. I also have to tweeze every day.

Yeap, I will try a Revlon one, I searched on Ebay and found some good deals and maybe I can buy the small version of the Tweezerman is less expensive and if don't works is not too much loss.

I have several different brands of tweezers. I love my tweezerman, but it is sharp, so it may not be for you.

I've had Revlon tweezers before that I really liked. They had a rounded edge on them and worked really well - very little chance of cutting yourself on them. I'm not sure what model they were exactly, but they were Revlon brand slanted tweezers. Hopefully that helps.

Thanks!, I will try with Revlon, I have very thin skin in my eyes, I think that's the reason that I always cut myself if the tweezer is too sharp

I didn't think I would like them as well, but my favorite tweezers by far now are the pointed tip splinter tweezers - they grasp onto the hair easily and do not cut the hair before it can be pulled out.

I had a pointed tip tweezer a time ago but I never could grasp the hairs, but was awesome for ingrown hairs... I always have ingrown hairs

i love my petite tweezerman. i find the regular ones suck...something about the tension (can you describe tweezers like that?)

i just bought a new set this week and had forgotten how awesome they are when you have a new pair. they sell them at sephora. one is pointy and the other is slanted.

Yes, I will check the petite tweezerman, I hope I can find only the slanted one.

Yes, I think I know what you mean about the tension, in my case I found the "tension" too hard, like kind of difficult to move or something like that

i've only been able to find the petite in the set. the pointy one comes in handy. even for non-eyebrow related things.

as for the tension, the non-petite tweezerman was too loose for me. it wouldn't grip the hair with enough force (?). these are much tighter (?) so if you want less tension, maybe these aren't the best.

this is confusing for me

, yes, that was I mean, I can`t handle "thigher" tweezers because I have carpal tunnel syndrome (and epicondylitis or tennis elbow too) because my work, most designers have this kind of lesions for repetitive movements, now I'm well but sometimes I can't move my right arm

I use Sephora brand tweezers, the work great!
Pricey, but they are totally worth it.

I checked the Sephora tweezer and is almost exactly like the Mehaz tweezer!!

I think I will go for a less sharper one, like Revlon or maybe a petite Tweezerman

^I have cut myself with tweezers before. I grab the hair as close to the skin as possible, and when tweezing the tiny hairs on the really fleshy part right above my lid, I often pinch my skin. If the tweezers are sharp they will split that thin skin right open. So I only buy the Revlon rounded edge slant tweezers.

Yes, that happen to me with my sharp tweezer (my Mehaz one), I always have a lot of little hairs right above my eyelid and the skin in the zone is very thin, I will try with the Revlon, I checked and the edges in all the styles are less sharper that Tweezerman or mehaz (the Sephora's tweezers are very very similar to the Mehaz, maybe is the same manufacturer)
