| | | Eyeshadow talk.. I love eyeshadows, especially in gold, brown, and pink tones bc they go well with my skin....I usually stick to a few brands, MAC is my all time fav, next to stila, nars, chanel, and I still use hard candy... their old skool palette is the best, but I want to venture off into others...any suggestions?

| | | i really love cargo eyeshadows. they are soft and easy to apply and blend. i also love their colors - yukon is my favorite for everyday wear. my only complaint about them is you have to be careful how you handle them, since they break kind of easily because they are so soft. |

| | I LOVE MAC EYESHADOW!! In fact I own just about all of the colors they have, even the ones I would never wear. I cannot help it, it is kinda of like jeans, you can never have too many because you just never know when you might need it. Sometimes I like to play with the different colors but trust me never apply more eyeshadow when you are drinking, because I have done that thinking I didn't have enough on and I woke up in the morning looking like Mimi off the Drew Carrey show! BBBAAADDD. Black eyeshadow is fun but it never applies evenly and creases super easy. Just my 2 cents....

| | | I get some kind of allergic reaction to certain eyeshadows. I get a burning sensation, and my eyes get read and watery. CoverGirl, Maybelline, Almay, Revlon, and Benefit do this. I can't quite figure out what it is in these products that cause such a reaction.
The only ones that I've found work are Anna Sui, some MACs, Pout, and Cargo. Sigh, it's such a mystery.
Eyeshadow shopping is so painful, literally.

| | | try estee lauder stuff, i use it a lot, also nicole miller. they are very smooth, and apply wet well (important since i do wet eyeshadow, no liner). they might not come in super shimmery shades, but they look nice and are easy to complement your skin tone.

| | | I use MAC, Lancome, smashbox, stila, and Nars. I was recently at Sephora and found eye shadow by Pop Beauty called eye cake. It comes in a big pan with about 5 different colors to compliment your eye color. It was only $19 and I love it. |

I also add some to the area between the nose and eyes that is a bit purple. You can also use it on the outside corners as well but I personally only do the inner corners. It also can be used on the under eye circles a little. Totally worth the money. |

I've tried it all! My friends even try to convince me My eyelids are naturally weirdly colored...it really looks like I have brown eyeshadow on all the time, people don't believe me sometimes when I say I'm not wearing eyeshadow! So I always just end up not putting any on because I don't like the look of it on me.

If anyone has similar experiences, let me know what you found out and what products work for you. | Me too, it's such a pain. My eyes get watery, red, itchy, bumpy and puffy. I only get allergic reactions to the cheap/generic stuff though. I once had my make up done by a pro for a wedding (thank god it wasn't mine) and she used the cheap stuff. The next day I looked like I was crying all night and it took the rash about 2 weeks to completely heal. So far I've been ok with MAC, Chanel, Clinique and Lancome but MAC and Chanel are the ones I use the most. |

| | | Do you guys think it's alright to match eye shadow with your clothing? Someone once told me it was tacky but this well known Swedish chef does it all the time and she always looks so pretty.

IMO, not the best look...JMO, it brings me back to the 6th grade and those aren't the best memories!
