if you *just* fit into a 27, like it's really snug etc.. then a 28 might be a better idea. Ava's - like all CoH stretch jeans, will stretch out to nearly 1"... but they are cut slimmer because of the shape they are. as long as you think it'll initially pull up fine, you shoul be okay in stretching them to fit ;)
