| MacChick, do you send your credit card information through the forum?
your answer should be no, if it's not, you're stupid.
So then, if you do not place your credit card info here, how can your number be being stolen from here?
your answer should be they can't be.
Have you heard from anyone else having this issue on this forum, or seen any threads about it in which their person on the line said the same thing?
your answer has a 99.99% chance of being no, because we would have heard about it by now. - didn't see the hf thread until just now, let me tell you something, unless your credit card number has been sent through this site, there is no way in hell that your card number is stolen because of this site. Ebay and Paypal have notoroious spammers and such that actually go by how active your eBay/Paypal purchase history is, more chance of someone freaking out and filling out the forms, just like Erik and I did. When I go through a lull in my eBay purchases, I dont get any, when I pick em back up again, I get a ton. ....digressing again..... back to the point V
If any one of these things is a yes, and many many more, including computer viruses and addware/key logging programs can be the cause of your troubles:
Now do you get emails from paypal/ebay/any other store asking you to update your information?
Do you ever enter your information into a web address that does not begin with https:?
Do you live with people who are unsavory or have children with friends that have access to your purse?
do you do chargesends, or any other thing where you send your credit card info by phone?
Do you call psychic hotlines, or anyother pay per use service, or any kind of service via phone where you enter a credit card number?
