I think the studio fix is so heavy b/c it is a combo powder and foundation. I find it heavy for regular daily use unless you need the coverage. When I first bought it, the lady at the counter told me to set it with their fix+ spray. I bought that too but have hardly used it. It is nice though when to sprtiz on the face when it is hot outside but isn't really a necessity imo.

I recently bought the blot powder b/c I wanted a transparent powder and have found it to be much lighter - I put it on with a blush brush and only on the shiny spots. I haven't had any issues (knock on wood) with breaking out with this yet and I have sensitive skin.
