just reading this for the first time... i've used prescriptives for probably 7 years now (?), but a few months ago i bought MAC studiofix to try it (though i had used the studio tech powder w/o any probs) and definitely noticed my skin broke out more. so i went back to my old faithful, prescriptives photochrome.

and to my knowledge, MAC is developed for studio make-up and photography, that is why it is SO heavy and highly pigmented.
