| When you go look for shoes, bring in your old shoes so they can see where the wear is. It will give an indication of where you need more foot support.
There are shoes for neutral, over and underpronation, so good running stores will hopefully give good advice. The Running Room has a good reputation, but they gave my sister wrong shoes and she developed knee problems corrected by orthotics and a chastising from her Physiotherapist for wearing footwear with the wrong support.
If your toes feel pinched, look for a shoe with a wider toebox.
