| I've been veg for over 16 years and I'm a foodie that adores good eating above everything. Contrary to other suggestions, I buy cookbooks and food magazines that aren't specifically vegetarian, since they usually have lots of great recipes in them. Some may be veg side dishes, others that do contain fish or meat, I modify to my liking.
I would also try being more adventurous when it comes to produce. There's terrific produce in the US so try out some of the vegs that aren't that usual and you may find a new favorite. Asian markets and such stores are great as well.
